Here we go….
Welcome to the Hammerhead Blog Community. We have put together this blog community in order to provide you the reader with a wide variety of cycling information and feedback. You will definitely be able to get the usual details about what’s going on around the HH shop and cycling team. However, on top of that we have invited a handful of bloggers from very diverse “niches” in our cycling community to give insight and details relating to their (general) cycling exploits and endeavors.
Below is a sample list of a few of our HH bloggers:
Sherpaxc (Travis)is a dedicated singlespeeder who has a focus on ultra endurance events and this July will be taking part in the Colorado Trail Race (CTR)from Denver to Durango. Here in the HH blog you will see him discuss his training regime, gear selection, and overall preparation as he ramps up to this (and other) event(s).
Bear (Ted)will be our resident techie and long-ish travel FS guy. He rides a Titus Quasi Moto and loves his multiple GPS units. Bear has been known to do such crazy things as 90 mile mtn bike races on his Quasi while riding 2.5″ tires. Yes, he’s “different” but that’s what we like about him. Oddities are welcome around here and once you get the chance to read his highly analytical gear reviews we are sure Bear will end up on your favorites list too.
Chris Feltswill be playing the role of our consummate roadie slash…Master’s 40+ road and cyclocross racer. Chris has been a regular fixture in our local, weekly, and regional racing scene whether it be the Tuesday Nighter or State Road Race. We have tried multiple times to entice Chris over onto a mtn bike but its all been in vain. He’s a leg-shorn roadie til the end. Look for Chris’ ride and race reports done in a satirical writing style that seems more at home on the pages of The Onion or Saturday Night Live than here on the HH blog.
Breyburn (Beth) is the the 5′ 3″ tall tough as nails HH mechanic with the purple hair that 9 mos ago gave birth to a baby girl name Kate. Tune in to the HH blog to see how she goes from 11 day Primal Quest competitor to devoted mom, back to adventure racer. She’s smart, small, tenacious, fast and has been known to eat lesser competitors without warning. Trust us, you won’t want to miss this!
CBaron (Cody) is the Hammerhead Bicycles shop owner. He is also a part of the frame building trio called True Fabrication. Cody has a 15 year background in XC/Marathon and road racing. He and Sherpaxc were the only Texans to finish the Taos Double Boundary Trail race (DBT) last fall. Even though he has fallen in love with the ultra distance events, lately he spends more time working at frame building and a the bike shop than riding. Read about his unique perspective as possibly the only frame builder/bike shop owner in Texas.
This is not an exhaustive list of our HH bloggers but rather an example of the diverse cross section of writers/cyclists that we have gathered here in the HH Community section. They will be providing you with reviews, photos, ride reports and general biking glutony. Look for each of our bloggers to begin their first post with an autobiographical summary of who they are and what they are about.
Please come on in and stay a while!
Sincerely,
Management, Hammerhead Blog Community

Let's keep this short and sweet. HammerHead Bicycles is different! There is no other place like us.
First and foremost we are riders, and believe us, that makes a difference. We are not casual riders who work at a shop for beer money. We are frame builders, racers, trail builders, endurance athletes and many things in between. We are life-long, sold-out riders who are committed to these crazy two wheeled machines.
Heh, that’s a nice polite way of calling me a crazy obsessive cyclist, but that’s okay, I’m AOK with that. :^) Now to find the login link so I can write marginally interesting comments back …
